It's vital for your team to have a reliable and experienced team leader in order to be successful.
STEPS:
Hope this helps guys!!
STEPS:
1. Know that the team leader does not have to be the person with the most expensive or high quality gun. After all, the team leader is not always the person who is the "runner and gunner" and is most cases the person who gives orders and occasionally shoots his gun. (depending on team size)
2. Acknowledge the fact that a gun is a valuable factor in choosing a team leader. A team leader should have a basic assault rifle for obvious reasons. If a team leader is a sniper than how is he supposed to give on the spot orders when he is not even in the core of the battle. This does not apply while playing CQB as all guns are SMGs or pistols.
3. Understand that experience goes above all other factors in choosing a leader -- you should always have an experienced team leader. One that knows the ropes and has possibly even been on another airsoft team. Or even served in the military and has a good foundation to lead upon. If your friend XXXX knows so much about airsoft he could figure out the exact specifications of a gun and its range and velocity with a blindfold on but only has a little 120 fps Wal-Mart's child's pistol then he should be team leader for the sake of his pure knowledge. Firepower is a case however. if you only have 3 or maybe even two (bare minimum) your team leader should be able to give fire support as well.
4. A true and dedicated team leader doesn't just sit back and give orders from a safe distance, he gets amongst the gun 'ho!!
5. Always remember that a plan that looks good on paper, may not be good on the field. All plans are doomed to fail, just be ready for the unexpected.
6. A squad leader gives clear and precise orders! Ensure that your squad are checking theyre corners, doors, VP's, bushes, high ground, choke points etc etc.
7. Squad leaders should nominate a 2ic (second in command) typically somebody else of fair knowledge, somebody able to pick up command should the squad leader be killed or captured!!
