Situation: September 2013. SIGINT tracking confirms the KOA cell have moved into the North Caucasus to rendezvous with local militants of the Caucasus Emirate separatist Islamic movement. It has now been confirmed by sources in Moscow that the Caucasian Front had previously acquired one RA-115B portable nuclear device which the KGB, more probably Isakov himself, had planted in Grozny before the end of the Cold War. It is believed the device is faulty with substantial breaches, and therefore the Caucasian Front has notacted to use it or publicly revealed their intentions. In the wrong hands thethermal generator inside the RA-115B device could be used to create an RDD capable of producing an incident equivalent to that of the Chernobyl disaster. It is now thought the fanatical KOA operatives involved consider exposure tothe device as a viable risk to achieve their objective. Both Russia and Turkey have raised their terrorism threat level to severe and a SI7/CIA Joint Special Operations Task Force has been dispatched to the area.
