Yea I'm looking to get a helmet cam, or a cam to fit a rail. But don't want to end up with a shoddy one you know.

I will keep you posted, via this forum, on stuff that is emerging from the market. I have already suggested to one company who is looking to re-package some camera systems into "very small" and lets say "discrete" packages that I have a method of field trialling their designs should they wish too.....

Yea ok, that would be ideal! You could put that too the members as and when they join should they want something like that.
Look forward to hearing from you!

3 members of our team now use head cameras. 2 using contours and the other a GoPro. Each produces some great quality footage but in my personal opinion the contour is the way to go for a head camera. The shape means its a lot easier to mount to gear especially helmets and rifles plus no fiddly buttons. Of course there are some cheaper action cameras on the market but you pay for what you get I suppose.
Here's a link to some footage from a team members contour roam mounted on his bowman headset so you can see the quality in some action.

Thanks! Footage was captured using a Contour Roam and was shot at Ground Zero Urban which is an old RAF base in Sopley, Dorset.

Agreed, good quality video! The scene looks intriguing too to say the least!! Good footage Euan! I like the addition of the hit markers! Nice touch.
