Currently running with 2 primary's and use a rail torch mount for each, but wired them both back to micro-switches on the foregrips,in order that they are just in the right places for my pinkies, working real fine at the moment.

A real latching type switch, biggish button, but slight pressure will enable you to switch it on for a moment, just like the pressure pads, or firmer pressure will latch the switch on, until depressed again to turn off.
I just dont like the pressure pads too much, and the connections to them are sometimes unreliable, so I connect them with a 3.5mm jack plug and socket so you can isolate it all and change batteries easy.

Yea ok sounds like a good idea! A few people have said that the pressure pads are unreliable, i have a surefire torch on my rifle in the army, and that's brilliant! Extremely bright and i've never any problems with my pressure pad.. I think with something like that you need to spend a decent amount of money to get a good quality product.
